Ohh Deer, I have this thing for stationery // Joining the Papergang

Other than make-up and clothes, I have a penchant for pretty, quirky stationery. I mean, who doesn't? Is there really anything better than the smell of a brand new notebook? I fail to believe so. There's just something about new stationery that I have always loved; even back in my school days when getting a new pencil case and pens was the highlight of the year. Back in the day, WH Smith was a store I found myself in often. These days, I'm more prone to the likes of kikki.K or independent stationers online. Seriously, there are so many independent stationery retailers that provide a great quick fix for stationery addicts.

One retailer I adore is Ohh Deer, they offer so many wonderful quirky bits like greeting cards, notebooks, homeware and art prints (I LOVE a good print). Ohh Deer also offers a monthly stationery subscription box called Papergang, which is such a fab idea for those, like me, that love a good stationery haul. The box is a bargain at only £9.95 + P&P a month!

The Papergang is Ohh Deer's way of 'expressing a deep-rooted obsession with papery goodness', whereby each month members receive a box filled with stationery and other paper products of great cuteness and quality. The product selection varies but will include the likes of greeting cards, notebooks, desk accessories and art prints.

I was very kindly sent a box, which I believe was the January box. Included was a notebook and wrapping paper in a rather lovely wintery design, in addition to quirky greetings cards (including one from Gemma Correll, whose products I adore), washi tape and a calendar for the forthcoming month (in my case, February).

One great thing is that you will never get a repeat box. Each month will be designed with an artist and a theme so all accessories fit nicely together. Almost all product is exclusive to the Papergang for a period of time before it goes on sale in the Ohh Deer shop.

I think so would make such a great alternative present for someone, especially if the person has a new job, spends a lot of time in an office, or just simply loves stationery.
