Buying for men at Christmas is, for me, akin to deciding what chocolate bar to buy; a bloody hard decision. I have put together a few ideas below, one's that I have chosen for my own family. I can't say they are totes original, but they get the job of present buying for men done, relatively stress free. So here's my 2016 Christmas Gift Guide for Men. Next Sunday will showcase my final guide, Stocking Fillers so stay tuned!

When thinking what presents to get men, I always think the shaving arena is a good place to start. Having a good razor is somewhat a necessity for most men, but do they actually purchase a good one themselves all year round? The
Philips OneBlade is a new hybrid trimmer that's proven to trim, edge and shave any length of hair. Although great for everybody, what drew my attention to this one was that it's ideal for younger guys who are experimenting with facial hair for the first time, so if you have a young Brother like me, this is a winner. £34.99,

amazon.co.uk.
And the perfect accompaniment? The
Bulldog Skincare For Men Shaving Kit, which contains Bulldog Original Shave Cream and Original After Shave Balm, accompanied by a white shaving bowl with brown rim, as well as a white branded shave brush to help deliver a close and smooth shave. £15,

Socks. Can you really go wrong? It's almost a tradition now for me to get my Dad socks for Christmas as you'd be surprised how many times I catch him wearing holey ones. There are so many great and affordable socks for Christmas - last year I got him some funky ones from Happy Socks, but this year I found these bad boys in Primark. How cool are they? I think I would pinch them to wear myself on cold winter days, not going to lie. £5,
primark.com.
One thing the men in my family tend to do is buy whatever body wash and toiletries are on offer in the supermarket. At Christmas I like to treat them to, let's say, slightly more luxurious smellys. The
KORRES Men's Kit has taken all the trouble of attaining separate products and put together all that a man needs in one little gift set. In the box you'll find mini shower gels, a mini shampoo, shave cream and aftershave balm. Cute, right? £19,
feelunique.com.
Equally, fragrance is an obvious Christmas choice for men. It may not be an original gift idea, but in my opinion, it is fail safe. I've picked out two this year, including the
KORRES Vetiver Root, Green Tea and Cedarwood EDT (£29,
amazon.co.uk) and the
Jaguar Pace EDT (£39,
qvcuk.com), ideal for car lovers as it imposes the appearance of the new Jaguar car.
Oh and for those boyfriends with grizzly beards? The
Brisk Beard Oil is a good shout! The citrus oil blends natural and essential oils and is fast absorbing, ultra light and coats and softens beard hair. £6.99,
boots.com.
