Christmas Gift Guide 2016 // For Her

Another year nearly gone, and my favourite holiday is upon us. I love Christmas, I really do, but I vow every year to be more prepared than the last and very rarely follow through. I just don't know where time goes y'know? I always feel like I have no time to do all the Christmas themed posts I would like, or drink all the festive hot chocolates from the Costa menu, but nevertheless I do love Christmas. First world problems ey? I love buying gifts for people especially; choosing what to get my family and friends brings me so much joy. Of course receiving presents is lovely, but I do prefer giving them I must say. This year's first Christmas Gift Guide is 'For Her' and is aimed at any woman in your family or friends circle and showcases so many amazing brands that are sure to bring nothing but smiles come Christmas morning. I hope this gives you some ideas for when you're present buying, however each one would make lovely gifts for yourself when you wanna treat yo'self too, cus who doesn't from time to time/ always. Let me know if any if these are on your Christmas list and what you're hoping for this year... Next Sunday's Christmas Gift Guide will be 'For Him'.

Christmas gift guide for her

I say every year I do not need any more makeup, yet when the opportunity of the Christmas list presents itself, makeup is at the forefront. Nude by Nature is a gorgeous line of natural, professional quality makeup that is not only offering fail proof formulas that are good for the skin, but rose gold packaging too. Need I say more? As much as I love makeup gift sets, sometimes I love to purchase items individually so that they suit the person I'm buying for, and then housing them in a cute makeup bag. Nude by Nature's products are free from harmful toxins and chemicals, parabens, silicone, sulphates and siloxanes and hails from Australia. I especially love the Nude by Nature Luminous Sheer Liquid Foundation and Light Pressed Illuminator. Prices start from £14,

Who doesn't want a bit of ghd under their tree at Christmas? More so when the brand has given its products a copper overhaul. I would never be without my ghds - they are the only straighteners worth the dollar imo - and I'm sure every girl needs a bit of copper luxe to spice up their electricals drawer. The ghd elite dry & style copper luxe gift set comes beautifully boxed and ensures party-worthy hair over the festive period. Bag the set for £195,

If you didn't get pyjamas at Christmas, did Christmas even happen? I don't know why, but flannel pyjamas epitomise cold winter nights for me, and there are so many styles for every gal. These bad boys are literally the cats pyjamas ;) and we're a steal at £8 from Primark. Lots of other patterns too if the person isn't a cat lover (if that's even a thing...),

Another staple gift category for Christmas is bath & body and the gifting collection from Soap & Glory this year is on point (well, it's always on point but yknow what I'm saying). My picks have to be Soap & Glory Pink Pamper (£15), which contains a range of mini body products and one facial wash; Soap & Glory Girl-o-Whirl (£12), which is not only totes fun to play with by twisting to create different soaper girls, but includes four cute minis; and Soap & Glory She's The Gloss (£14), including four mini Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Glosses. The brand is offering a good split between bath and body and makeup (see it snuck in again), but is especially winning in the bath department. As someone with only a shower, baths are a very special part of my Christmas. Also, the packaging, they pull it out the bag ever year. Merry Glitzmas! Get these gifts on a 3 for 2 offer at Boots while stocks last,

Also winning on the bath and body (and skincare) front is KORRES, one of my ultimate treats for shower time. Their gift offering this year is rather extensive so you're sure to find something for the women in your life. KORRES is such a lovely brand and it's one you simply cannot go wrong with. All of the scents smell divine and are not like the usual synthetically scented products; for the price I think the products are gorgeous. My top picks are the KORRES Almond Cherry Collection (£18), KORRES The Absolute Japanese Rose Collection (£22) and KORRES Vanilla, Freesia and Lychee Eau de Toilette (£29),

Food. The epitome of Christmas wouldn't you say? Food, like baths, is always high on my agenda. All year round, but especially at Christmas. Crabtree & Evelyn are not only great at hand creams you know, their food offering is also top notch. This Festive Cracker is filled with festive delights, including handmade Christmas Spiced Fudge, Pink & White Coconut Ice and English Butter Toffee. And again, a winner on packaging; you wouldn't need to wrap this, it looks super chic under the tree as it is. £12,

an image of a gin and tonic candle from the present finder
Let's face it, a gin and tonic can solve most problems, and even in candle form it will bring a smile to a gin lover's face. Home fragrance is a really great category to delve into for Christmas, especially when you're buying for a particularly difficult person. You can't go wrong with candles and you can grab this Gin & Tonic Scented Candle from The Present Finder, which offers a vast array of quirky products suitable for all loved ones. At £14.99 it's a good choice. But then again, gin is always a good choice,

an image of an engraved Gucci Bamboo perfume
Fragrance is always a nice luxury to receive at Christmas as I always find them too expensive to buy for myself. A scent I believe many gals will like is Gucci Bamboo, which is now available as an EDT in addition to the EDP. What's extra great is that at Boots Emporium stores, fragrances can be engraved (for a £3 additional fee) so that you know you're giving someone a truly personal gift. Can't get more personal than fragrance sometimes, can you? £58 (50ml),

o&m original mineral holiday 2016 packWhat I do think is nice at Christmas is receiving something that would usually be a mundane every day purchase, but is much more luxurious than what the person would buy. This is when a haircare set like the O&M Three to One Holiday Pack is ideal. We all have to buy shampoo and conditioner on the regular, but if you're anything like me, you'll usually go for what ever is on offer. A person is very unlikely to purchase high end haircare on the regular, especially if they don't have the disposable income to do so, so receiving a luxury set is sure to put a smile on the receiver's face. Christmas isn't a time for bad hair is it? The O&M Holiday packs bring a little bit of Australian luxury to hair and contain three products, each in a different variation depending on hair type. This one is perfect for anyone who suffers with dry and damaged hair as it contains the Hydrate & Conquer Shampoo & Conditioner, along with the Frizzy Logic Shine Serum. £65,

Jeffree Star Beauty Killer Palette is something for the make-up junkie who loves US beauty products. Landed straight from the US to Beauty Bay, this palette is not for the faint hearted. If they love make-up, pigmented eyeshadows, and sugary sweet packaging, this is for them. £40,
