Monthly Beauty Favourites // September

Oh my September was gone in a flash wasn't it? Despite it being the longest pay month EVER. September has been too warm for my liking so I am glad we're fully into the swing of autumn now. My favourites in September were a lot of products I have rediscovered in my stash to make my beauty routines more autumn appropriate. Can you believe I had totally forgotten that I owned a Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette? I know, I know *slaps wrist* but I am glad it's now at the forefront of my collection again.

September Monthly Beauty Favourites
Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Quad (£38) - As soon as September hits, it’s autumn in my eyes, and speaking of eyes, I always reach for this Vintage Vamp palette from top make-up babe Charlotte Tilbury. I rediscovered this palette again over the past month and have fallen in love with it over again. The shadows don’t score top marks in terms of pigmentation, but for a subtle, autumnal eye look, they’re ideal.

Dermalogica Barrier Repair (£36.90)* - This has been saving my nose. Quite literally. You guys know how much I appreciate Dermalogica’s products, and this one was no different. I always suffer from a dry nose, especially in the corners, and this have been really helping to keep it under control. It’s a siliconey gel that traps moisture and does what it says on the tin (tube), repairs the skin’s barrier.

MAKE UP FOREVER Pro Bronze Fusion (£28)* - Now the weather is cooler, I am trying to calm down on the bronzer, but that’s not to say I don’t need to warm up my face to look as alive as possible at 7am. This MAKE UP FOREVER Bronzer is the best at adding a cool-toned subtle warmth (I know it sounds contradicting, but it works) without looking too ‘summer beach party’.

Barry M Mist & Fix Dewy Finish (£4.99)* - When I first saw this, I found myself - yet again - feeling skeptical. How can make-up look dewy but actually stay in place? Well, Barry M has nailed it and in fact skin can do just that. This adds a dewy, hydrated look to my skin but doesn’t smudge the make-up and helps it set and stay put. I’m impressed. It’s purse friendly too so go go go!

OGX Coconut Water Weightless Hydration Oil (£6.99)* - My ends of my hair have been really dry lately due to straightening it more often that usual. Once straightened I have been spritzing some of this onto the ends to instantly rehydrate my parched strands. This is so lightweight and you barely feel it, which is great. Not forgetting the gorgeous scent of coconut.

Gosh Lipstick in Matte Cranberry (£6.99)* - If you have been a reader of my blog for some time, you will know my favourite drugstore lipsticks are the ones from GOSH, so I am not going to harp on and on about them. What I will say though, is that this cranberry shade is perfect for autumn and it’s been my go to lipstick lately because it’s not difficult to apply and it doesn’t budge.
