Creepin' It Real // Last Minute Halloween Look

Oh Halloween, the time I hate to love, but never actually do much for. The one thing I love about Halloween is having the excuse to go cray cray with the likes of make-up; I love make-up after all, and when else can I get away with black lips? Halloween has never been a massive deal for me, but I do love to dress up my face and be on hand with a bowl of treats for any potential trick or treaters. I love putting smiles on kids faces and trying (and failing) to scare them at the door. I made myself look like I had stretched my eyeballs one year, and this poor kid was terrified. One thing I have never been good at though is pumpkin carving, so I leave that to my highly-skilled pumpkin carver - ma Mum!

I am not doing anything this year because I am celebrating my Mum’s birthday instead, which falls on the 1st November, along with a friend of mine, so it’s always more of a birthday celebration rather than Halloween. To make up for this I decided I was to get creative with my face to relieve the FOMO feels. Everyone’s Halloween looks are amazing this year (Sophie Hannah Richardson, though! GOALS), and mine are just shit in comparison, but I had little time. So if you also have little time, no costume and want to have a little fun, this look is for you. This can be achieved super quick, and considering it’s not really anything in particular, it looks quite cool. I did this at 10pm so it’s not very neat, but who cares? It’s Hallllloooooweeeeeen bitches. I will also be uploading a different look this weekend on my YouTube channel, so keep yo’ eyes peeled. Thanks to my pal Mavs who took the pics of me, she has an awesome green beauty/lifestyle blog so check her out!
Oh and this look is super cheap, everything is from Superdrug so if you can spare half hour, run there and stock up for a last minute look! Superdrug is currently running a make-up promotion where you can get three products for the price of two (up until 22 Nov) inclusive of all make-up within the Halloween range = RESULT.

So what did I use? To whiten my face, Freedom SFX Ghost Whitener (£3), which wasn’t the easiest to work with, and then mainly the Freedom Black Swan Kit (£8), which included an eyeshadow quad (amazing pigment for price), gel liner (SO creamy), white liquid eyeliner (used on my lashes and brows) and black liquid lipstick (I patted silver shadow over the top for shimmer). I then added some Freedom SFX Fake Blood (£2), Superdrug Lashes and Ciaté Nail Glitter - sprayed my hair with the Black Blaze Instant Colour Hairspray (£2.99) and then removed all with the B Stubborn Make Up Remover (£7.99).

What do we think? Easy peasy right?! Oh and the above picture was just for the lols, but I might put it as my tinder profile pic. Oh wait, that would be if I used tinder...
