Fragrance // DSquared2 WANT Pink Ginger

When I first wrote about the new DSquared2 WANT Pink Ginger Eau de Parfum, I felt instant lust towards the tantalising description of what it smelt like. Therefore, when it landed on my desk in all its glory, I almost burst with excitement. I had never really experienced DSquared2 before, I had heard about it but would have never picked it out of a line-up. But this new launch had me at first glance; the bottle is exquisite and had my inner pink lover jumping out from under my skin. As I have previously mentioned, finding a scent that is so ‘me’ is a rarity, but this spicy and sweet combination denoted my personality from the offset.

The fragrance is of oriental and floral origin and comprises hypnotising notes of pink ginger, mangosteen (a scent I absolutely adore in bath and body products) and pink pepper, which are then blended with lemon, tangerine, damask rose, heliotrope and neroli. The dry down is sweet and warm, with notes of Madagascar essence, vanilla, violet and amber. This fragrance lingers all day, which is an absolute dream. I have had so many compliments - even towards the end of the day - on this scent, and I feel like a bit of a girl boss when I wear it. I love it when a fragrance makes you feel a certain way, it’s particularly empowering.

The fragrance is available in the following formats: 30ml (£39), 50ml (£56) and 100ml (£71).
