End of Month Reflection // May

So we're in June and today's weather is one of very few days we've had that actually depicts what the weather should be like around this time. Quite a few days this month it has been resembling what it was in November and I've had to dig out my winter coat that I so quickly lodged in the back of my closet as soon as the sun showed itself. Maybe I was too optimistic...

I've had a pretty busy month in May with the various projects that I've got going on. I've tried to keep productive with the blog but I've kind of had to make it a second priority. The Beauty Talk Podcast is doing well though and I can't believe we are reaching the end of season one. I hope you guys have been enjoying it and if you haven't yet listened it would mean the world to me if you did. I sound like a complete crazy person, but there's got to be one hasn't there? I'm definitely representing the south in the best way stuck in between two northern lasses haha!

I've also been to some really fab events this past month, with the highlight definitely being the Tatty Devine #TattyWorkshop in their store on Brick Lane. I was invited by the lovely Jazz and caught up with Paige, Law, Erica and Cheryl while we all made a rather fabulous lips necklace to celebrate the launch of the Tatty Devine Kiss and Makeup collection - it's such a fun line of jewellery, I love it!

May was the month I also finally started getting enough money together for a new camera to kick start a YouTube channel, so watch this space! I still need to buy the camera and I'm a bit stuck over which one to buy. I either replace my SLR or get the Canon G7X so that I can also take it away with me and use it at blog events and such. I'm just unsure of whether it's good enough for main channel videos because I'm a sucker for good shallow depth of field, but I cannot afford both. I think I'd rather have a compact camera which can be used for all things so if you guys know or think it's good enough for main channel videos with the use of studio lighting please let me know!

I can't believe we are six months into the year, like what? Did you do anything cool in May?
