Christmas Party Makeup // Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Holiday 2015

To Bobbi Brown: As I sit amid the sterling night sky, I am equipped to face the world with the war paint that you provide; crushed jewel tones and sparkles that arouse one’s gaze, there's nothing a girl needs more by her side. In brief, that conveys my complete admiration for the new Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Holiday 2015 Collection*. When my eyes struck their first gaze, I nearly burst with excitement. There is now a collection that conveys the feelings of serenity provided by the night sky, and the magical opulent starry views – such promise, such beauty. It is such launches that remind me why I fell in love with make-up all those years ago. It goes beyond aesthetics and materialism; it’s more of a case of empowerment – something to help face my own battle. This love has now evolved into a look that will accompany me – with much confidence - to forthcoming seasonal parties.

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights 2015 Holiday Collection
Pieced together with eye palettes, sequin eye shadows, gel eyeliners, face highlighters and striking lip colours, the Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Holiday Collection has party looks covered, therefore I have picked a few of my favourite pieces to create my own look. Party doesn’t have to mean bright colours and pure glitter – sometimes a little sparkle has more impact. Bobbi Brown has stuck to what she knows best and has created a collection suited to every woman; heavily focusing on the nude and smoky palettes with pops of cosmic hues (think bronze, gold, gunmetal, emerald and midnight blue).

How cute is the Bobbi Brown Caviar Mini Eye & Lip Palette above? It comes with a diddy, slightly shimmery lip gloss and five shadows, which I think is absolutely brilliant for the price.

Bobbi Brown Holiday 2015 Collection Although I am thoroughly in love with all the pieces in the collection, the products I used for the below look are as follows: Bobbi Brown Christmas Rich Caramel Eye Palette (£38), which comprises five shades of warm cream, caramel and brown shadows in matte, shimmer and sparkle finishes, along with a a double ended brush which works really well for application; I enhanced these shadows with the new Bobbi Brown Sequin Eye Shadow in Constellation (£25), a baked shadow formula (which is one of my all time fav formulas) that is infused with flecks of metallic shimmer - a lovely gold and dark bronze shade that adds the 'oomph' to the look; Bobbi Brown Caviar Mini Lip & Eye Palette (£26.50), whereby I used the included Sparkle Eye Shadow in White Sand to add a subtle shimmer to my brow bone and inner corners, along with using the black Caviar shade to line my eyes slightly; Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ivy (£18.50, forgot to photograph sorry!), a gorgeous deep greeny black which works wonders at lining my lower lash line and tight line; Bobbi Brown Face Highlighter in Pink (£26), a liquid highlighter that delivers a sheer, radiant sheen, also available in two other pearl-infused shades; and to complete the look, the AMAZING Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Lip Color in Vixen Red (£20), which is quite possibly one of my favourites and will be used all through the festive season - I love a good red lip and this formula is both long-lasting and moisturising, plus it doesn't bleed.
Christmas Party Make-up Look Using Bobbi Brown The limited edition packaging is also pretty swell; super chic, sophisticated and black, three things that scream perfection and sit well in your stash.

A picture of Bobbi Brown Holida 2015 Palettes So what do you think of my Christmas party look? I tried to keep it classic- more of an enhanced - more defined - natural look that would help my eye colour and lip colour pop! If red is too daring for you, the Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Lip Color in Nude (£20) has been another 'go to' product for me lately, it's a gorgeous brown-hued pink that surprisingly looks great against a pale complexion. If anyone was wondering, the foundation I used was the tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full Coverage Foundation and a new concealer that I have been loving from Bourjois (more on that soon!).
