March Beauty Favourites

Liz Earle Skin Tonic Spritzer (£14.75)* - I raved about this in my Evening Skincare Routine post here, however there literally hasn't been a day this past month when I haven't opted for using this. I use this both in the morning and evening after cleansing and find it super refreshing. You know how sometimes your skin feels a little taught after washing? well this little beauty completely eliminates that feeling, it's a dream and has a very subtle, awakening scent. I will be forever repurchasing this because I cannot imagine my skincare routine without it and it's going to be even more useful during the summer months as an alternative to the usual eau thermale water sprays.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil (£13)  - Now, this is an interesting one because when I first used it, I really didn't like it. I felt it left a horrible film on my skin that made me feel a bit grubby, however I persevered and have really started to favour it. I find it sinks into the skin fairly quickly and is a great two-in-one product. I love using both serums and oils, however recently have been using oils rather than moisturisers, meaning I can't bring myself to using a serum and then an oil as it's just too much, so this combines the two and does the job in one simple step. My skin also feels like a baby's bottom in the morning and appears more radiant - like many of the other products in the Vitamin E range.

Percy & Reed Wonder Balm (£18)* - I am a hair criminal. There I said it: I bleach, I colour, I towel dry, I go to bed with wet hair and I tie it up without brushing, therefore I need a hair miracle. Percy & Reed have delivered it to me with their Wonder Balm product, it's really injected life back into my hair. The product is of light gel formula and improves moisture levels, while adding softness and smoothness to the hair cuticle. I had to make my friend run her fingers through my hair the other day as I couldn't believe it was as smooth as it was. Job's a gooden!

Soap & Glory Archery Pencil & Brush (£8) - Once I had my eyebrows reshaped I felt like I was in the market for a new brow product. I was previously using powders and cream products, but really wanted to try something that would be easier to imitate hairs, rather than just full on shading them in. I have long yearned for the Anastasia Brow Whizz, but my budget is very low at the moment, so I went for the next best thing from S&G. When I went to buy this they didn't have the brown shade, however I struck luck when I looked in the bottom drawer of the counter (does anyone else do that?) and thanked the heavens there was one left. I snapped it up and haven't looked back since. I like how precise I can fill in the sparse areas and my brows look much more natural.

Topshop Lipstick in 'Innocent' (£8) - I have had this lipstick for a long time, I think it was, in-fact, the second Topshop lipstick I actually purchased. It's the perfect light, nude toned pink that is ideal for the 'barely there' make-up look, and a really nice soft shade for spring. I love the Topshop formula, it's really creamy and non-drying and this is one of those where you don't have to look in the mirror to apply - fabulous!

 B. Beauty B. Sweet Highlighting Serum (£14.99)* - I feel lucky to have trialed this before it hits stores (tomorrow!) but this is going to be even more of a staple as we transition into warmer weather. It's a lovely, dewy and pearly consistency that I like to use either under my foundation, with my foundation or on top of my base for super glowy cheekbones. I have been feeling a little under the weather this month and this has really infused radiance back into my lack-lustre skin. I do find it slightly bitty when it first comes out of the pump (crushed pearls, I'm guessing) but when you rub it in this texture dissolves into a gel, easy-to-apply formula.
