Birchbox Royally Good

Birchbox are having a Royal Baby Bonanza in anticipation of Kate's upcoming bundle of joy: Let's take a look at the new Birchbox Royally Good...

Birchbox Royally Good Box

Just like a real birth, this month's Birchbox* had an element of surprise: was it going to be a box suitable for a little royal baby boy... or girl? Following a strong labour of anticipation, the Royal Mail stork delivered my parcel, and I soon found out what I had received...PINK!

Despite the colour of my box, the contents were very blue and included five luxe beauty samples, plus an extra bonus product, including: Laura Mercier Eye Pencil in Purple, I was initially a little gutted I didn't receive the Primer, however after seeing the colour of the pencil was purple, I felt happier; Lola Barcelona Nail Polish in Garcia, a hot fuchsia Birchbox exclusive shade; Percy & Reed Volumising No Oil Oil, which is said to tame hair without weighing it down; bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash, a double-duty cleanser and exfoliator; Korres Bergamot Pear Showergel; and Inner Me Energise Me, a box of vitamins and minerals that are said to boost energy.

To really get into the spirit of Royal Baby #2, Birchbox are giving us a chance to win a bumber beauty bundle worth up to £500, depending on whether the Royal Baby is a girl or a boy. Those with a pink box will have the chance to win a stash of pink beauty goodies and if it's a boy, the people with blue boxes could win a bundle of blue goodies.

What will it be? I think it may be a girl... well here's hoping!

  1. Birchbox really does the best boxes! And that Laura Mercier pencil looks like the perfect festival eyeliner, so don't feel bad! The primer is definitely overrated!

  2. I really liked this months box and the products I received. Also thought the box itself was pretty cute. Liked reading your post to see which different products you received :)
