Beauty Haul : Drugstore & High End

So yes, a haul following a haul. I had some birthday money and vouchers to spend, so I took myself off to the beauty isles of Boots before finding myself at the Urban Decay counter in Debenhams. I bought a lot of those things that I have heard lots about, and the items that have been long coveted.

Boots had its usual 3 for 2 offer on, but annoyingly it wasn't mix and match, it was individual brands. This actually worked quite well in my favour as the majority of stuff I wanted/needed was from L'Oréal and Maybelline. I finally got my hands on the Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencils, which are a great dupe for NARS' pencils. I went to two Boots stores to try and find an expanded colour range, however neither had a huge selection, so I opted for Fab Orange (very similar to MAC Morange) and Nude Perfection. I also decided to jump on the Maybelline Lash Sensational band wagon after hearing so many great things: I have Benefit's Rollerlash which is said to be quite similar so I am expecting good things.

At the L'Oréal stand I picked up the new Infallible Matte 24 Hour Foundation, which after Lily raved about I felt I needed to try. I do have a feeling this is going to be slightly too clingy on my dry patches, but I did hear someone say that it wasn't as matte or drying as they first expected, and compared it to NARS Sheer Glow, which is one of my all-time favourites. I will definitely report back on this. I then repurchased the L'Oréal Paris Lumi Majique Concealer which really brightens the under-eye area; and Julianne Moore's Nude Lipstick in Barely Peach - I mean who doesn't love Julianne Moore?

I forgot to go to the Bourjois counter to check out the new eyeshadow sticks, so when I was in KIKO, I decided to pick up a similar version: KIKO Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in 05 Rose Brown - the swatch on my hand was incredible. Now, I originally went to repurchase the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, but since Debenhams didn't stock either brands, I ended up purchasing the Urban Decay Naked Foundation and Naked Concealer. I matched to the lightest shades in both, which is to no surprise, but loved the effect it gave when the MUA applied it on me. I think I will still repurchase the other two products when I get money to do so as I love having a number of foundations and concealers on the go at one time. I had a little bit of money left over and so I bought the Urban Decay Naked Lip Liner, as I am not such a fan of the MAC one I have. Debenhams have 10% off beauty at the moment so it's definitely a good time to make a purchase.

Are any of these products on your list to buy? Next I need to hit the skincare counters!
